well i didn't want to be a runner but i have no clue what the lump could be, i really hope you and baby are ok. does the lump hurt at all when you touch it? if you are worried i would ring NHS direct, it could be baby you are feeling, although your baby will be bigger than a 50p, some people feel things earlier than others. also could just be a part of your body as everything moves around inside now baby is getting bigger.
I have no idea! though I have a few lumps around my back and side, but they are just fatty lumps (according to the doc) kind of squidgy but hold their shape.
Is it hard? and under the sirface of the skin or do you really have to poke to feel it?
I have a really similar lumpy bit on the lower left hand side. I plucked up the courage to give it a good poke Friday night and the baby lurched so much it made me feel sick. Then it kicked me for AGES! I felt a bit guilty.
It was deffo the baby in a wierd position and I'm a couple of weeks behind you. Does it hurt? If not give it a poke and see what happens x
My baby definitely favours one side of my stomach. When I lie down there is a very clear lump on the left which is the baby as it's here I feel the most movement. I have given it a soft prod which made it move.
I have been feeling my baby for quite some time. Although like you i wondered because everyone was like its far too early. Every baby grows at diff sizes so it could well be bubs!!
Is the lump always there or has it come up recently.. and does it move from tiem to time? Give it 'til tomorrow chick and see what's on with the lump.. if it's moved it's likely to be baby playing tricks on you with his/her hand or foot.. even though some wont feel baby until 25+ weeks, I have felt mine by putting a hand on there (especially with a full bladder) since about 18 weeks.
Don't panic. When is your enxt appt with MW? Maybe she can shed some light on it.
My bubs sounds just like yours hun, I get all the movement really low on the right side, like where my ovaries are if that makes sense?????
I get a little lump poke out and I swear it is a little foot, as when i had my scan they said that was how bubs was lying with the legs exactly where the movements are
My little one loves the right side of my tummy! Sometimes she really pushes out and my tummy goes a funny shape and I can feel either her arm/leg sticking out! It's a weird feeling and you can feel that at 20 weeks It could just be the way your little one is lying. Is the lump always there or does it come up randomly?
