It isnt right on the surface, you have to push it a little to feel it but it hurts :? should i tell the midwife next time i see her??

It may be an abcess from a hair or some such. Easily treated. May be something else. Either way get it checked out.

I'd personally go see my GP if it were in my armpit.

yeah i agree with sherlock, id see your GP, doubt its anything PG related.

I get constant lumps in my arms, yours may be a one off abcess

Get it checked just to be safe. I had one once, turned out to be an infected hair follicle :D

I was just about to start a post on this myself

I woke up with a really sore feeling under my armpit, kind of feels like its been sunburnt but it hasn't if you know what i mean.

Anyway there is a tiny little ball like lump there too and it has scared the shit out of me.

I've rang my docs and i cant get an appointment till next week.

xxx

If you are feeling a bit run down or coming down with something your glands will often swell a bit. It doesn't necessarily happen on both sides and can happen either in your armpits, under your jaw or in your groin. I wouldn't panic as this is the most likely scenario but best to get it checked out.

I used to get loads of little lumps there It was from glands and stuff :) or could be a ingrowing hair thats got all nasty right underneath the surface

Defo get it checked out though you can never be too carefull

i had they lumps in my armpit while pregnant also - i was told it was milk ducts, but they are still here now, think i will go to the doctors..

xx

Does the lump itself move around under your fingers?

I had something like this a year ago - and I can't remember the name but the Breast clinic told me it was a lump that came up due to being pregnant, so it could be this or any one of the things the other girls mentionned

Go get it checked out for peace of mind chick xx

well it seems to have gone now, how strange  Ill keep an eye out for it again though, thanks for all the help, i think it may have been a spot or something but not sure, thanks alot though ladies you all helped alot
