my little miracle has been given the all clear !!!!!


after 5 months of worry they've found the virus is only in his urine not blood or spinal fluid!!! this means hes still contagious but it shouldn't cause him any damage or harm

he will still need yearly checkups and people have to be careful around him (incase they catch it when pregnant) but on the whole its all fine

cant believe its finally over!! and breaathheeeee

yep at 32 weeks i was offered this! sorry if that upsets anyone. i get tears everytime i think about that and i will never ever get over that.

the thoughts that ran through my head at that time were things that no one should ever have to think about. i cant even write them down they make me so upset!

but my tears are now tears of joy and relief xxx

well his wee and saliva! and tears actually! even though its only in his urine it means hes still as contagious as if it were in his blood/spinal fluid, but the difference is it shouldnt affect his sight, hearing or brain when its just in the urine....

but yes usually the blood would be contagious too but its not with him xxxxx
