Low spine pain

Anyone else having trouble sitting down and standing up ..... my lower spine (tail bit) hurts so much!! I am sitting like i have piles and standing up like a granny getting up xxxxxxx

I've had a few shooting pains up my back (they started yesterday) but midwife thinks it's an early pre-labour sign so I don't think it's quite the same as what your experiencing.

No ive not had that one, but poor you as it doeant sound very pleasant!

Hope it gets better for you, the only thing I can think it os is the way your baby is laying and is putting a lot of pressure on your spine

I get a lot of back ache now but it's not in the tail bone.. and as I'm almost due I kind of expect it.

Could it be that you have a touch of sciatica? That can give pain in the back/hips and legs. Maybe you should mention it to your MW or GP.

And does it hit you all of a sudden? one min your fine the next the pain is excruciating??!
GP seems to think that along with the SPD my back is suffering as im a big lass and my boobs are bigger than Texas ( more words not her technical ones lol ) It does seem to be the site of my old epidural's tho
