Low fluid???

After reading the post about tiggy26 how do you know if you have low fluid????

they pick i up in scans i had low fuid with oliver thats how they picked it up for me...went for a scan to check on the fluid levels but my waters broke the day b4 didnt see much point in gonig for it but they insisted!

I went for a 4d scan over xmas and they picked it up there.

Im having weekly scans now to keep an eye on it.

I don't think Tiggy's was picked up on a scan...

She had been having a few pains and stuff the weeks leading up to being induced though. I'm sure she will confirm when she is back home

It's picked up at ultrasound scans.

I'm back tomorrow for another scan to see if the fluid is any lower.

So i had a scan on friday at 29 weeks and they said fluid was okay, does that mean i;l be okay this pregnancy. Sorry this is my first so have no idea

They would have picked it up at the scan.

I had a scan at 28 weeks for another problem and they picked up there was low fluid around the baby then.

Hi

I have had quite a few scans for this, it was originally picked up on a growth scan at 28 weeks. They talk about AFI which is amniotic fluid index, the normal i'm told is between 5 and 25 and mine has been down as low as 2, my last scan had picked up a bit more but that was done by the consultant, I have to go back for another one tomorrow. I am now 37+1 and think they will make plans for inducing then, I also have gestational diabetes.
