ive have always suffered from low blood pressure been in and out of hospital with it doctors are baffled. I have to eat twice has much salt to keep my lvl up to a standard (otherwise il have blackouts).
As im ttc im worried coz im gonna have to cut down so any other suggesestion on keepin it up?

With my last pregnancy i was very ill had a few blackouts, once in work when i thought 'shit my baby' so i had to stay off work. i really dont want to go through that again. any help would be appreciated.

Sorry - I can't really help, only to say that my blood pressure went down when I was pregnant, and was on the low end of normal anyway. Presumably you can't afford to let yours fall further. Doesyour doctor know you are TTC? I would get there advice.

Good lcuk

I have an extremely low blood pressure and slow heart beat (one point doctors only knew i was alive because i was talking!), i told the GP that we were thinking of TTC and they told me to get in touch as soon as i found out i was so that they could monitor me closely. Not on any medication as apparently it it something i have had since birth (mum forgot i was born with a heart murmur!) so it hasn't affected me that much. I have always been pretty active so they aren't concerned at the moment. Thing is this is about me and my life and not yours so .....

I would talk to your GP or your midwife and ask for advice - its best you ask than start getting worked up about it. Im sure they will be able to talk to you about diet and anything else you ask but if you are worried i would certainly discuss it with them.

None of us on here know your medical history etc..... so please take advice from a professional who knows about this rather than someone who may have been in the same circumstance as you.

Take advice - but my Mum has always suffered from low blood pressure and had 6 live births :D so guess it's possible
She did faint a lot during pregnancy though - as did I - I naturally have slightly low blood pressure. But well a bit of fainting is bearable.
