Well....after much thought... I've came up with the name I love for our little fella... But DH isnt to sure...........

I like it, my friends wee boy is called Fynn

It's ok - I neither hate nor adore it. Sorry for the lack of enthusiasm.

I'd probably spell it Finn, but then I'm Irish :D

I voted it's ok. :)

I don't love it but I don't hate it either. I think I would spell it Finn too, but I don't think it matters either way. xxx

Thinking about it now......maybe Finn would be a girls way of spelling it, so I think for a boy I would spell it Fynn. Sorry I'm a bit slow today xx

I voted it's ok. It's a nice enough name, I just prefer things a bit more traditional I suppose..! (im boring!)

Finn is definitely a boy's name in Irish:

'Irish name derived from the Gaelic fionn, meaning 'fair' or 'white'. Also found in the form Fionn, it was borne by the celebrated legendary hero Finn MacCool'

In ancient Ireland, Finn MacCool (or Finn Mac Chumhail in Gaelic) was a great leader or the military elite tasked with guarding the High King.

So, actually, if you are Irish, it is quite a cool name to have ... hmm ... changing my vote to 'Love it!!' .... :D

Thanx everyone.... at least i dont have anyone saying they hate it!! :D

And thanx F5OT..... I didnt know the meaning of the name at all.... great help!

I still love it..... gotta try and convince hubby now..any ideas!!
Maybe when he sees me in labour...he'll just let me call him what I want! :D

i voted for its ok, but then i wish id voted for love it, because the more u say it in ur head, the more it sounds nicer!

I love it but also prefer the spelling Fin as in Finlay (love that name)

I love the name but hate the spelling, obviously its up to you but it should be Finn in my mindset, also a name without any vowels strikes me as odd.

But like I say, its ur baby so dont be put off :)
