My baby girl is now one week old today!! Time is flying and already she's growing. She is mine and my oh first child. She wasn't planned but I must say she's the best thing that could of happened for us. Isn't it amazing being a parent!! After everything people have said i thought it would be a lot harder n I would be tired etc, but I'm finding pretty easy at the moment it's a doddle. My oh is fantastic as well. How are you other new mums finding it? Xx

Awwww isn't that just the best thing. I Love windy smiles. I was even up the other night at 5 in morning feeding her and taking pics haha. She's been here 7 days and I already have over 100 pics of her on my phone. It's such a blessing. How old is your little man xx

Yes and yes! I'm the women that everyone hates as I had such an easy pregnancy no sickness and supposedly "glowed" the whole time and then had an easy labour - no pain till pushing and that only took an hour!

How about you?

I was sick at the start and had to stay in hospital for 4 days on a drip but after that I was fine I can't complain I just didn't really like being pregnant it was hard work. But my birth was brilliant. 6 hours from start to finish had no pain relief till I was 7cm and then I just had gas and air and then an injection of pethadine at the end. I was pushing for 25 mins and out she came home the same day too. I would give birth again any day xx

I've been lucky to have a great baby, but when he is having a growth spurt, like last few days he was feeding a lot in the night and today, also teething so upset a lil. I just hate seeing him sad! Apart from that its all great he's babbling away atm x

Aww bless him. Bet you love listening to him chatting away at night lol. I love the noises my baby makes in her sleep. I'm dressing the teething I was a mess when my babies cord fell off the other day coz it went manky. Seeing them in pain is horrible I think that will be the hardest part for me xx

Aww sounds lovely I can't wait for it all. Yeah my baby girl is so happy at the moment. She's so content and not clingy which I'm really glad about as all weekend my family have been down to visit so she hasn't been left alone. And I'm not bf as when I left the hospital they didn't show me how to do it or bath her or anything me and my oh have taught each other. But I tried to bf by myself and I could get her to latch on properly I didn't want to bf but when she came I changed my mind and wanted to be even more close to her again. I love it when she lays on my chest all curled up like she's still in my belly. But I can only imagine how amazing it feels to bf. I deffinately will with my next! Xx

Aw that's a shame, tbh I think midwives are awful with it. I was determined from the start and made them help me, but they put so much pressure on me, like if he doesn't feed properly by this time.. was annoyed in general because I had pethedin , so we both sleepy, and I damaged a nerve in my right hand meaning I couldn't lift anything or grip properly with it for weeks, so the first night alone in hospital I struggled as I asked for help to change a nappy as i couldn't lift him and never done it before and she kinda scoffed at me saying I need to do it next time. Felt like shit and struggled with my hand and taught myself everything! I mean I couldn't do my hair, or even eat properly myself cos of my hand. Also was my (sorry TMI) wiping hand so was a mess down there. Bad really. But glad I struggled through it. Next time make them help you its worth it eventually!

Oh god!! I would of gone absolute mad! Least you got your self through it I mean I think I would of had a break down! Least you know your strong enough to deal with defficult situations not many people would keep on going and trying. And yeah already I want another baby lol so does my oh but far too soon haha. I look at her every day and she's doubled in size in 9 days!!! xx

Yeah that's what i thought would be best to wait till around a year and a half apart. Be too much hard work with 2 babies lol xx
