LouiseB - Lou is back (pg6)

Sooooo over the moon for Lou, i don't know how she has kept going through all the cycles of IVF, but she's my hero for doing it.

Twins would be amazing too...... but just glad she has finally done it :o)

Come back Lou...... we need to hear your pregnancy journey.

And there I was thinking there was nothing in the world that would ever get me back on here - how could I possibly ignore all you lovely ladies!

I was honestly feeling very little emotion about it all until I came on here and read all your lovely messages and it was the closest I've come to tears. In fact I'm welling up now

I've been through so much with you girls and it was hard to go, but sometimes enough is enough and for you all to still be 100% behind me after all this time - it's amazing and I hope you know it's mutual. I have got my spies keeping me updated and I'm so chuffed for the ladies that beat me to it and those that still have it to come. I've got everything crossed for you xx

So yeah, fuck me, I'm pregnant!!!

To hopefully make it useful for the IVF girlies, gosh, have I had two cycles since I left?! Anyway!

This cycle was another humdinger. My typical bullshit cycle. They did IMSI and found only grade 3 sperm (no grade 1 or 2) and then we got 8 embryos of which all were graded 2-3 (1 best, 4 worst) on day 3 so they pushed for transfer and did a 10 cell and a 7 cell.

We felt crap and they took the other 6 to blast. We couldn't believe it when we got a 3BB and a 4BC to freeze! And well, the BFP! Oh my god, I was so sure it was never going to happen and I bet I'm not the only one.

What started out rubbish was the best cycle ever and all that we did was go and see Dr Ramsay and had my hubby's reactive oxygen species tested and treated. It was a 3 week course of antibiotics. That's it! That is it. If you have sperm issues, do not ignore me. Go and get him treated even if only because I said so. He was put on Ofloxacin 200mg a day for 21 days if you can talk someone into a prescription. Then he waited 3 month, the sperm looked no better, but the difference in terms of embryos must have been huge :)

Fine, fine. I'll shut up and get to to good stuff ;)

I just had my beta today, I'm 16 DPO and I got a reading of 249 which looks spot on for a singleton but doesn't rule out twins so I'm finally assured that I am in fact pregnant! :Good: It's so hard to believe when it happens.

My scan is on the 28th May when I should see the heartbeat(s).

Here are my progression tests:

And here are my OTD pics:

And that's your lot :)

Oh, I will be doing a blog that you're welcome to nosey at and contact and things if any of you need help with anything, honestly I'd love to help anyway I can.
