i'm dreading them :( app is at 1.40 pm, scared hes going to get a temperature after or be ill :(

gonna want to hit the nurse when she comes to my boy with a needle :rotfl:

wish Louie luck!!!!

ps how did all your LO s get on with their first jabs??

just keep teling your self you have to be cruel to be kind, and the nurse is doing your baby more good then harm

Harley and Dior were both very grotty after theirs, when they are injected they do cry bad but soon forget and are smiling again,

just have some calpol/medised to hand, ild maybe give Louie some just before he has his jabs
dress him in nice loose soft bottoms so they dont rub on his legs and keep him cool after

good luch hunni x x x

Good luck with the jabs, have to admit i had to get my OH to sit my son on his knee i hate the needles. I was worrying about side effect from the jabs but he only slept for an hour after (he was due a nap anyway) but he woke up bright as a button no, sickness tiredness or grumpyness, same with my niece she had no sideeffects either XkelX

thanks girls

dionne, do you think i could give Louie some medicine before the jabs then? do i have to check 1st with anyone?
i thought of doing this too but not sure

I was advised not to, as you don't know if they would have reacted. Ellie didn't react to the first ones, she just wanted more cuddles afterward. She did react to the second ones though. As has already been said make sure you have calpol at home just in case.

yes i was told to give calpol to keep Harleys temp down he was born 5 weeks early, but they still said he could have medicine for his jabs

I try to make sure that Joe is hungry so that although he is upset from the jags he is more concerned with getting back to the bottle.
You do know its 2 jags, one in each leg dont you? :(
