Having a bit of a brain crisis at the moment, keep misplacing things or throwing them out :wall: Is this a pregnancy symptom??? I used to be pretty organised person :wall:

Found the car keys in the bottom of the bin last weekend after several hours of searching and now I can't for the life of me find the padded envelope the hospital gave me with the vials/forms for the downs/cf blood test on tuesday. I know where I left it but it just isn't there now, turned the flat upside down last night and was in tears by the end of it.

OH says not to worry but I'm so stressed about it! I was blubbing my heart out last night telling him I was convinced the midwife is going to tell me off and think if you can't look after an envelope for a few weeks how will you manage to look after a baby!

Got midwife appointment for the test on Tuesday and I cannot find it anywhere, convinced I've either posted it with some ebay parcels the other day or flung it out thinking it was an old envelope but why!!! :wall:

The tube, form and envelope already had all my details written on by the hospital ready for the midwife to send for testing. So annoyed with myself but I've emptied every drawer, shelf, box, bin and it's gone :( Even checked in the loft, shed and car in case I'd taken it on a random adventure but no joy.

Do you think they will have something they can use to still do the test on Tuesday? Anyone else lost the envelope and survived? I'll phone first thing Monday and explain and fingers crossed.

Also got pooped on by a seagull (more like aerial curry over the head, shoulders, bark arms and running down face) on way to the hairdressers yesterday :puke: The smell was horrific and I was baulking all the way down the road, what a sight I must have been! Managed to avoid morning sickness but was so nearly sick on the busy high street thanks to Mr Seagull!

Then, so much for getting pooped on being good luck, as I pulled onto a roundabout on the way home, (with my lovely freshly washed, non pooped on hair!) the trailer on the van in front suddenly flew open and 3 or 4 sheets of plasterboard fell out the back, luckily I managed to stop and then swerve around them but if I'd been a few feet closer they'd have landed on the bonnet!

Sorry girlies, I've fairly rambled on, having a moment and needed to vent as OH has had enough of his crazy hormonal lady!!! Lucky for him he started work at 7 this morn to get away from me! Think I need a bath and some retail therapy today (although may avoid the high street in case Mr Seagull's waiting for me again!)[/i]

Aww Peanut! Sounds like you've definitely got the preggo brain :(

I'm SURE your MW won't tell you off, I bet she's seen worse cases over the years! I'm sure they have copies of your blood tests so don't worry too much - it'll probably turn up in such a random place!

I'm getting the pregnancy brain too... I left my purse at the meal last night and I bought a home acrylic nail kit and couldn't find the brush... That I never ordered   I looked everywhere lol in the bin in case I'd thrown it away etc... Terrible!

I'm sure you'll be fine though hun  They'd never give a pregnant woman the only copy of something that important!! For billions of years women have been getting pregnant, and if they haven't learnt by now never to trust a pregnant woman with important documents, the world is coming to an end lol! xx

Aww babe I hope you start feeling better soon

Your little story has made the limp bizkit song go around my head..."It's just one of those day when you don't wana wake up, everything is ****ed, everybody sucks, and you don't really know why - but you wana justify ripping someones head off!"..

Thanks Girls, had a nice relaxing day in the garden at my mum's, and feeling much more relaxed now! Like you say Dannii it'll probably turn up in the most random of places in a few months time!!!
Hope you're all having a nice weekend,
Sarah x
