Loft Conversion

Has anyone had one? We found out we are having a little girl this week and our house is 2 bedrooms, the bedrooms are quite big but the layout of them wont let us split on into two. We could move but i love our house, the area ect and an extension is out if the question so we are thinking of a loft conversion and looking at getting it done before our little girl arrives. Has anyone had any trouble geting one? Roughly how much do they cost? Are they worth it? x x

Planning permission may be required from your local council............ If lots of other houses near by have them, it should be easy enough.

My dad and step mum have had one and it looks fab there is quite a lot of regs that have to be adhered to, like fire doors throughout certain areas of the house etc..........but if you get a really good builder they should sort it all for you

Think theres cost around 20-25k if that helps?? x
