little bump on cervical os?

I'm sorry if this sounds gross. Don't really know where to post this.

I think as of last month, when checking my cervix I kinda feel something like a tiny bump on the opening, like something is slightly protruding. It's only been today that I noticed again (last time was about a month ago) so I think it's happening during luteal phase. I'm kinda concerned. I do pap tests every year and they come back normal. I was checked at my gynae about 2 months ago so I think he would have seen it (I don't know whether I had it then though).

Has anyone got any idea what this could be? I am actually going to go to the docs soon to have it checked, it could be nothing but I don't want to risk it. Just I thought I'd ask before I go

I googled it and I don't like the internet results on this

I think I have one as well- just had a smear in the summer and that was all fine.
