Hi everyone, I was just wondering at what stage your babies went head down?
My little chap has been head down since 22 weeks. Last week I was laying down on the sofa and felt the most enormous movements, like he was spinning round. All evening his kicks were at the sides, I'm sure he'd gone transverse. By the morning he was vertical again but it just felt different somehow.
On Sunday we had a 4d scan (amazing! I'll post a pic!). They told us he was breech with his feet down! I saw my midwife yesterday who confirmed it. At the scan he is weighing 3lb already and measuring 30 weeks My midwife was honest and said there is no guarantee he will spin round again as he's getting bigger all the time and running out of space.
It sounds silly but i'm petrified at the thought of having a caesarean. I get myself in such a state when I have surgery because I find the whole idea frightening. My midwife suggested some kind of acupuncture candles and getting on all fours with my bum in the air to encourage him to turn!
Has anyone else had experience of this? My daughter went head down early and stayed like it so this is all new to me!!
