Hello ladies
I'm looking for a bit of advice or opinions.
I'm getting married in April next year. But I'm desperate to try for another baby now, have been for a few months but I've been pushing my urges to one side! I feel that now is a good time to start. But my oh is half and half.
We have a 19 month old who is a terrible sleeper and always has been! He is still mostly in our bed after months of try to get him sleeping on his own. (which could be a whole new other thread here haha).
My Ds was the worse baby imaginable, he was diagnosed with silent reflux at the age of about one and despite the constant visits to the doctors ect we received barely any support as to what was making him so unhappy. He didn't stop screaming day or night for a good solid year.
So as you can imagine we are both a bit cautious and scared that it could happen again!
So with all that combined together I'm scared to start trying for number two. But I would so so so love another one.
Sorry for the big post haha. But what would you do. Would you say sod it or wait a little while for life to settle down a bit?

I suppose no one can really make that decision other than you and your partner. Personally I'd say sod it lol. We got married last year and tried to plan the perfect time to conceive and then found out I had PCOS and it took a big longer than we anticipated.

Our life definitely isn't perfect right now as I've got issues with work but now I'm just so happy to be pregnant I couldn't care. It'll all work itself out! Good luck x

Our eldest is 21 months and sounds like your LO. She's never slept through like yours. We had our second 3 months ago and she's the total opposite, a complete dream. She sleeps 12 hours straight through and has done from being 5 weeks old. They say you never get two babies the same and in our case it's definitely true!!

Thank you for your replies
I think we are just going to have to take the plunge or else we would never have another baby. Fingers crossed the next one sleeps!
I bet it was really strange having your new baby sleep so well I know I would be shocked haha.
I saw a friends baby the other day and she was a dream the whole time just sat and watched us not making a single peep!
And congratulations on your due arrival! X
