Hi all

Just after some advice, my dog went for a walk on sunday with friends and come back very sheepish we had to bath him as he was dirty but was trembling, droowling loads, froze stiff, wouldnt go in certain parts of the house, so we rung the vet tuck him down, said his throat was really red, could be a stick injury, well he had to be put to sleep the next day, said nothing is in his mouth but could see a gash from something, so got him home and hes been jumpy, looking around like he can see something, wouldnt go upstairs, he always sleeps on the bottom of our bed but wont even come in our room, keeps looking dodgy under the bed, and just wants to quickly get off the bed when u put him on it, what do you think it is :(

Mayb he has been frightened by something outdoors and injury is enough to make him jumpy try rescue remedy think there is a dog version tho not sure of its name and maybe just reassuring him until he regains his confidence ps you worried me when you said put to sleep I thought you meant put down realise now u meant anethatised phew! Xx

Aww sorri hun meant meant knocked out lol, hes a bit better today, lets see what tonight holds xx

Awww poor thing. Something must have unerved him :( Did your friends say if anything happened at the park, another dog go for him etc? Or maybe its the shock of the stick injury.
Some kind of rescue remedy sounds like a good idea. I would just give him lots of cuddles and reassurance to make him feel safe and confident again. Someone with more dog experience might have more ideas though. Hope he gets back to his normal self soon xx

It sounds like somethinks definately scared him. X

Tapping ;) x
