advice needed pls you you have had this or know someone who has

well i put a post on here a few weeks ago asking about some symptoms and should i be concerned etc, unfortunately i didnt get a response so im hoping someone who this has happened towill please reply to me.

after asking if my symptoms showed signs of prem labour i was admitted to hospital sat with regular strong contractions, they decided to give me 2 steroid injections over 12 hrs, thankfully after a few hrs my contractions stopped and i hadnt dialated. i am still getting the odd period pain but no tightenings yet

the consultant today told me because i had already had some symtoms of premlabour thatmy risk of having the baby before my due date had doubled

has this happened to anyone else and have you ended up having the baby before your due date?

Sorry I don't know. I have no experience but I know some of the girls have had their baby a few weeks early. My friend had her first at 35 weeks and he was fine. I'm sure they are keeping a good eye on you though x

sorry didnt want to read and run just wanted to say all the best xxx

I didn't have this but I had my little girl at 35+5 and she's absolutely fine xx

Hey, with my daughter I started experiencing cramping and slight bleeding from 24 weeks, I was constantly at the doctors and in and out of hospital. They kept telling me it was BH. Then around 31 weeks I passed a kidney stone!! And was told by a doctor 'God you must have been in alot of pain!' Duhh, like I had tortured them for ages. Then I started getting more pains around 33 weeks and went to hospital. I had dilated by 1cm, they gave me steriod injections and told me that because of the kidney stones I would must likly go into early labour. Then 3 weeks later at 36 weeks I gave birth to my 7lb 4oz daughter who was perfectly healthy :) So you might go early. But at least they have gave you the steriod injections, as if your baby did come early and you hadnt got them they would inject them into the baby, they did this with the lady's baby that was in the same ward as me and it was heartbreaking to hear the baby cry :( Best of luck xxxx

I had absolutely no symptoms whatsoever, just one day, six o clock at night my waters broke and within six hours I'd had him at 34 weeks. Not a niggle or a tightening in sight. If your gonna go your gonna go, symptoms or no symptoms, they've done the best thing with steroids now. They gave me steroids when I went into labour but he came to quick to take effect so he was on neo natal with his breathing. Just make sure your all ready and put those feet up! Xx

I agree make sure ur ready at all times and rest well.. Youve had steroid injections so if baby came right now then all will be fine :) try and relax Hun xx
