what is the actual likelyhood it will happen?

Well I was in hospital sat having strong and regular contractions for a few hrs, I was given 2 steroid injections over 12 hrs, contractions stopped obviously but a consultant said to me if u experience signs of preterm labour n that you chances of having baby before due date is doubled.

Has anyone experienced this before and had the baby before due date as a result?

I have heard various bits of this happen to a friend of the family yes as your body is ready for giving birth much earlier so there is increased chance.xxx
