Lighter AF after D&C

I got my af back yesterday
Im just a little worried as its a lot lighter then im used to. I have always had heavy bleeding with my af but this is not only lighter but (warning tmi) a different colour its dark brown not the usual af colour at all. Do i put this down to it being my first after af and the fact its taken so long to return or should i be worried? never freaking happy am i lol xxx

I'd say don't worry, it's probably just because it's your first AF. But I'm no expert!

I find my AF is different each month anyway, some months I get no warning and bright red AF then others I get a brown like spotting first.

Thanks kedi, Its full af so at least i have that to be thankful for. Im going to try using opks again this month last couple of months they have been haywire im hoping now that af is here they might finally settle down x

yeah hopefully this month you'll be able to track your OV better and get yourself that BFP. I long to be back in the Tri 1 section again, hopefully we'll be POAS together this month

after d&c back in feb my af been much lighter that ever before (tmi) often only spotting and light bleeding for 3 days, used to be a lot heavier and up to 7 days.

i don't think it matters in terms of whether you concieve again though, but i appreciate i'm not a great advert as now on 5th cycle after mc!

Hi Amyrose, it just sounds like some old blood that needed clearing out as you haven't had af in a while. In fact mine is brown today on first day of af and light. I don't know if its because of chemical preg last month or what but I'm not worried. I hope everythiing settles for you hun now you got your first af and you get that bfp fx xx

Hi I had D+C in January. AF after was light 2-3 days at most. Last AF this month was more like was previously - last 5 days and days 2-3 were heavier than last couple of cycles. Think it's only now my body is getting back to normal. Everyone is different thought.

If it wasn't for PF I wouldn't know half the stuff I do!! After my MC all the hospital told me was to come back if I'd had offensive smells!! They never discussed trying again or anything.

They even made me wait 1 hour for a doctor to come and tell me about the offensive smells!!
