Life before PF

I was sat here this morning wondering what the hell did I do with my time before I found this forum! I'm so addicted to this site and must be on it several times a day!

I was wondering what did u lovely ladies do before u found PF? And am I the only addict here?

I've always spent a lot of time on the computer since I was a kid

Before PF it was a wedding forum, before that it was a dieting forum, before that it was a gaming forum

When I'm sick of PF it's a gardening and DIY forum or whatever my preoccupation is.

Afterwards it will be a parenting forum lol

I don't watch much TV

Totally agree with you! My house used to be a heck of a lot cleaner and I was blissfully ignorant as to how complex TTC really is... x x

I know I'm sat here refreshing to see if there is any new posts, when instead I should clean the house! The tv is just on in the background, trying to watch recorded programs but end up missing most of it!

Must move away from the iPad, this thing has made my addiction so much easier than using the computer! Xx

Well i have to say i am so grateful for this forum as it has helped me so much since joining. I was very lonely since moving to the uk i had no friends as i dont get the opportunity to get out and mingle. I have met so many wonderful people on here and want to say thank you for making my life a little brighter and giving me the strength to carry on i love you ladies . xxxxxxx

Obviously PF can be a bit addictive but I wouldn't change it for anything, everyone is really nice, supportive and caring and I have learnt so much about TTC.

Working in fashion it's nice to be somewhere where girls all get along well and and no one judges each other and is bitchy!

I definitely would have a tidier house too Miss J!

I love that I know you guys but I don't if you know what I mean...I can be really open about very personal and detailed stuff but at the same time not have friends and family constantly on at me about whether baby 2 is on the way. I need to be able to discuss these kind of things and hear what others are finding. I never knew TTC could be so complex either as it was all very random with my first bub. Now the thing is, hubby works shifts, I work full time and tutor as well, then with a toddler about too the chances are less and we have to be more precise about TTC. So, thanks guys, you're all brill and I'm glad we're here for each other.

I agree amyrose, this is like a second family! I love everyone and love hearing all the stories that everyone has to share. I also get really sad when I see a sad post from someone!

I so agree with all these posts. Im an addict to and have to charge my phone every night as Im on PF so often!

Lol one day I will have to have a PF free morning and actually do my housework. I also put stuff from the planner on TV to watch and miss the whole thing.

My hubby thinks it's funny I've found something I'm as addicted to as he is addicted to PistonHeads. He keeps asking 'How are the piss and stick brigade?'. It's a bit of a play on my mum's term for old people - the 'piss and biscuit brigade'. Hubby thinks he's very funny with this little quip!

I was pretty much the same, surfing the net for endless answers but lonely with noone to share how I was feeling with. This pf is heavens bliss xx
