Leggings as pants?

Just wondering peoples opinions on leggings as pants?

If so how do you wear them? Pics?
I'm currently wearing them but I'm only in the house and on the fence about it.

I wear nothing but leggings with long tops and either boots or flats

I usually layer so will wear a long black top that covers my arse then a baggies usually slashed neck top to go over

Most important when wearing leggings is cover your bum... They are see through when you bend over..

Them tops are bodycon dresses from h&m not that I'd ever wear them as dresses lol but they are nice and long and cost 8 quid so I have loads and I alternate them with a baggie top or an open shirt usually

Also get jeggings they are a great cheat at skinny jeans basically just look like demin but soooooooo comfy

If you buy thicker leggings from Topshop/river island, they don't go see through ! Nowt worse than people walking around in see through leggings lol!


Ill wear leggings with slouchy tops, smart top and a blazer and I also wear leggings when I have something denim on my top half like a jacket or shirt so I don't do the whole horrific thing of wearing double denim lol

I have worn nothing but leggings since I was 13 weeks pregnant. Before that though I only owned one pair.

As netty says, you really do need to cover your bum, so I wear black leggings with a long black vest and then another top. Or else I wear with a really long vest or a dress

Yeah usually I try make sure my top covers most of my bum but the leggings I wear aren't see-through anyway (always wear a pair of tights if I have to wear Primark leggings as they're the worst culprits for showing skin!!)

My advice is invest in a good thick pair. Sainsburys have 'treggings' like leggings but really thick, or look for ponte leggings from topshop - I love them. Warehouse leggings are fab too!

Wear a longer top to cover your bum, I wear a warehouse longer length black cami top, so my bum in always covered. Then like a long top, and cardi. Or dress.
With pumps or boots.xxx

I wear leggings quite a lot, again only with long tops though...
However my cousin was wearing some the other day with a hoody and nothing covering her bum, they were obviously thick leggings, I've seen a few people wearing them like that. I don't think I could pull it off though, my bums too big lol!
