I don't know why anyone would think you were fake, you've always seemed genuine to me.

As for attention seeking, we all come here to air our grievances and I don't think you do that more than anyone else.

In life there's always going to be people who want to cause trouble, the thing is to concentrate on all the people who want to support you.
