Today we got sofas from OHs uncle....they are cream leather and recline (nice!!!)

He had them for a wee while, so what can I use to get black scuff marks off the footrests, and what can I use just to safely clean the leather?

Really dont wanna stain it or damage the leather!

have you tried...
Nail polish remover (Guy at sofa shop told me to use nail polish remover).
Hairspray.
Leather clean & Feed or something.

Some people told me to use bleach on my leather sofa to remove biro but I never dared incase it damaged it but my sil bleaches her black leather all the time and it's still in tip top condition.

for everyday cleaning I use mr sheen leather wipes as they are dead quick and bring it up lovely.
