Leaking!

My little girl is 9 days old..

I leak non stop, I use breast pads,shells & towels. It seems like I forever leak and gets to the point where I can't even leave the house as it starts all over again.

How do you girls control the leakage? I feel like I'm a cow lol xx

It should hopefully settle down, I was doubling up on breast pads and was still soaking through bras and night dresses and had to send my mum out to buy more as I had run out of things to wear.

Get some reusable breast pads which are bigger in diameter and more sturdy. Have a look at Nature Babies but they are cheaper on Amazon.

I just rinse them through each night and pop on the radiator to dry so you don't need loads of pairs. Good for the environment too!

I use lanisoh breastpads and have had no leaks. Your supply will settle down soon though and it shouldnt be a problem after that x

I'm expressing due to latching issues and we've dropped the 3am feed for formula and thismorning j woke up with hugely painful breasts and so much leakage I thought I'd actually spilt a whole glass if water in myself in my sleep or something! When I expressed at 7am to release the pressure a bit I got 2.5oz in 5 minutes!!

Let's just say I'm doubling in pads tonight

It will slow down although at 6mths when we dropped all night feeds I woke up in agony and soaking! X

It does calm down after a while.

Puts a whole new spin on sleeping in the wet patch though doesn't it...
