My laptop becomes really hot when i've used it for a while, just like any other laptop i suppose, so i always take the precaution to put a pillow on my lap when i use it otherwise the heat is just unbearable. again this might sound like a stupid question but could the heat (or heatwaves??)actually harm the baby if it's too near that part of my body?

hi, there is no evidence for this and i use a laptop all day at work and when i get home in the evenings. i rest mine on a pillow or a table for comfort but i aint worried about it so i think it will be ok xxxx

there shouldnt be a problem hun.

just be careful that the laptop doesnt overheat, as the pillow may stop the vent things. which could 1. wreck the laptop, 2.be a fire hazard.

just give it a few mins to cool down every so often

I use a laptop as well but I put it on this big cushioned tray thing because I noticed baby kicking alot when it was on my knee but that could have been because of the motor inside or whatever it is in there
I think the baby thinks it's the cat purring. She loves th cat
