The campsites are just outside Carnforth, on the road into Morecambe (it's only about 4 miles from Carnforth to Morecambe). The ones I can think of are at Hest Bank, Crag Bank and Bolton le Sands (villages in between Carnforth and Morecambe). DO NOT go to the beaches round there - they're the cockle picking ones. There's a great pick your own strawberry place on the other side of Carnforth mmmmmmmmmm.

It really isn't that bad if you enjoy good old fashioned family time.
 
My Gran lived in Morcambe for 20 years,

moved nearer us a few weeks ago, i wouldnt advise anyone to go though, not much to do and most places are closed in the evening, it does have a market on a sunday which gets quite busy but other than that it's pretty pants...

yep thats where we went. red bank farm. It was lovely.
i liked the farm campsite but the area was crap.
liked lancaster though and we went to a place called Clevelys which was quite nice. Good beach. :)

we were on the tele topo! did anyone from the norht west seeus? we were on a campsite onthe live 6.30 local news!
