i just had to write this up because im so pleased! Ky had his first day today and was a little star!! i handed him over in the morning without a single tear (he was too busy playing with the girls hair! ) I then went away to work in my department already wanting to run back upstairs and cuddle him! A couple hours later when we took the tweenies (age group 18months to 2 that i was working with) in the garden and ky was being pushed round the garden in a pushchair happy as larry watching the other kids. caught eye of me, smiled then carried on watching the children! charming! wasnt upset at all! 
i came up a couple times in the day just to see how he was and he wasnt interested in me at all far too busy playing! first time he was rolling round on the floor with another little girl a month older and the second time he was sitting in a boat toy bashing the hell out of the horn! my little mans too grown up for me already!! 
on an excellent note hes been doing brilliantly with his weaning. he had weetabix and strawberry for breakfast and he wolfed down all the nursery diner of chicken and pasta bake which they pureed for him specially and he had tea!! im sooo more relaxed about him going on friday again now, im over the moon he enjoyed it!!
