You know how lovely it is when your baby finally starts making loads of movements and then you start to see your tummy move and its all wonderful? I've had this for a few weeks now and just recently I see the tummy move more and more frequently which was great....until....last night I was in the bath and my wee one was awake and started kicking. I lay there looking at my tummy and then it started feeling uncomfortable, really low down like stomping on my bladder. I thought baby would soon move positions but no....it went on for 3 whole hours and it was getting quite painful and very uncomfortable! Been ok all day since I got up this morning and baby has just woken up and is doing the same again. Its so uncomfortable I actually feely sick...Is this normal? I cant remember this in last pregnancy? Its so low down. Any tips on ways to encourange my baby to head north (without doing a headstand cos I'm sure I'd pass out lol)

I often get kicks down there hun, its never been painful, just not that comfortable! and not as wonderful as feeling and seeing kicks at the front of your bump! If i'm lying on my back i sometimes rub my bump slowly in a little area and baba has gradually followed my hand and started kicking (or punching) the front, i can also feel her moving. But it doesnt always work!

But if its painful, i think maybe raise it with the mw just to be on the safe side. xxx

It's not painful for me yet as baby still so tiny but sometimes I'm sure my bladder is a baby trampoline! It's like you are always bursting for a wee but nothing there when I get to the loo! Luckily I don't mind just now but if it keeps doing it by the time I'm at your stage I don't think I'll be so happy about it!

Tracey I keep getting this and it really takes my breath away and makes me wince, i feel as tho hes clawing away and twisting my bladder, its so uncomfortable, dont remember this with my first either. mine usually happens in the evening. x

Aww bless ya hun I hope it settles and here's me not been able to wait to feel baby move hope your well besides the obvious x x

Its starting to feel uncomfortable for me too, feels like he likes batting my bladder with his head.

I know what you mean completely. I'm getting loads of kicks low down and right into my back and side that are waking me up at night in pain. Getting so sore that I have to stop walking sometimes!

Thanks girls, what a relief! Thought it was just me cos not had anyone on forum complaining of it. I suppose none if us want to moan and just be grateful that my baby is so active. Better get signed for a top football club to make it worthwhole lol
