Has anybody been kick counting at all?

If so (and this will seem weird) how do you count them?, do you count the flutters and wriggles as well or just the solid kicks?

Thanks xxx

I time him rather than count. He has a sleep pattern now and if he's not awake when he should be I do what I can to wake him before I panic. From what I've been told it's not individual movements as such, there needs to be a slight gap between them? But I could be wrong and yeah I think everything counts unless you fart straight after lol

I laid down or relaxed every night from 7-9 and kicked every single movement. as long as she moved around 10 times in 2 hours, I was happy!

Now however, she is so big, I just keep an eye on movement throughout the day. As long as I feel her moving I am happy!!! I feel a bit sorry for her now, all squished up in there!!!

I don't really count I just make sure I feel movement everyday- as long as there is movement during the day I'm happy, although def more movement in the evening or bed time- I do think he has less room to wiggle now so movements aren't as big - that said he has his moments xxx

Yeh i also found this hard to decide weather to count kicks or movements as i get more movements thank kicks. If that makes sence? xxx

ive been told not to count kicks/movements, but to make sure you're feeling what is normal for your baby. ive been monitored twice at hospital as his movements were less than normal but they didnt want me to count just go straight in as if was different to normal.... does that make sense? xxxxx

i get more movements and wriggles too now, not so much the kicks! x
