Hi, After much talk between me and my other half we have decided to try for a baby end of summer We have been together for a while and own our own home, have good jobs and financially will be fine so we thought why not?! I suppose i am still fairly young at 23 (Though i feel older ) but i have been working for over 6 years now in a great job and would love to have a child in my life.

Having 2 neices and 4 nephews i feel like i know kids well enough and know full well what to expect, i'm always running round after them and cleaning up after them- even icky things like cleaning poo of the loo after my neice had trouble and getting sicked on plenty of times- but i still love spending time with them.

So my plan up until then is to get a bit more fit (good weight anyway just want to increase my fitness), stop smoking by June and come off the pill in July in preparation.

Apart from that i'm just going to carry on as normal as you never know how long these things will take and i'd rather just go with the flow rather then get to caught up with it- but at the same time it's exciting and it's nice to see other peoples stories and experiances on here and hope to talk to more of you soon
