Just Married and Trying To Conceive :)

Hello everyone,

I'm 24 and only recently got married.

I stopped the pill (after 5 years), last Wednesday 26th. And I'm currently TTC.

After hearing from other people, I understand it may take a while, so I've joined this forum while I'm on that journey!

Everyone is different when coming off the pill, I came off mine and 4 weeks later found out I was 4 weeks pregnant, so it happened straight away for me! But a friend of mine took about 6/7 months to fall pregnant. Just stay positive and it will happen when the time is right!

Welcome hon! I came off the mini pill at the end of July and it took us 7 weeks to get pregnant. Everyone's different so good luck in your ttc journey x

Congratulations on your wedding!
I've been on the site for just over a year and everybody is lovely and provides great support and advice. TTC is a roller coaster and everybody is different so my advice is to stay positive and calm. Fx you will get a BFP soon

I fell straight away but friends of mine have been trying for 6/7 months and have just fallen.
Everyone is different hun, it will happen when the time is right. Just keep healthy and happy !!

I got married 5 months ago and came off the pill straight away after being on it for 10 years!
I'm super excited about the prospect of being a mum, wish it would hurry up and happen!

I am also a newbie and a very similar situation to you got married in September but came off the pill in June/July (can't remember exactly!) we are now TTC, I only joined a few days but all the ladies are so so lovely. Congrats on ur wedding hun!

Everyone is diffrent.
I thought it would take ages for me as i been on pill for 5/6 yrs..

It only took till my 2nd cycle ttc and i fell pregnant so it can happen str8 away but it could also take a few months for body to get back into the swing of things!

goodluck and hope ur ttc journey isnt to long enjoy tho!
