I was reading about faint lines on pregnancy tests (it had come up on a pregnancy website), and it said about chemical pregnancies. silly me, i then read up on chemical pregnancies and then got worried.
it said they happen within the first 6 weeks and due to better hpt's, more and more women are realising that they are suffering from them.

due to having 2 early mc at 7 weeks and 5 weeks before having my dd, and been told i wont see a midwife till im 8 weeks im fretting now. really wish i could get an early scan.

Try not to worry hun... I know its way easier said than done but I'm sure all will be fine :hugs:

argh the evils of browsing the web for pregnancy info! dont worry hunny literally anything i google about my pregnancy tells me i a,m going to lose the baby! Wikipedia says women who have no morning sickness are more likely to miscarry or to bear children with birth defect!!! WTF stick to these lovely ladies for any fears you have sweety :) internet is the devil lol

oh sweet! Im sure you have nothing to worry about. I found out at 5 weeks and would have probably panicked too . reading that. I've banned myself from reading sites and google now, I've restricted myself to here- everywhere is so full of bad news and the worst case scenario for everything, I was worrying daily!! There are all sorts of things to scare people all over the internet. I have never heard of anyone I know having a chemical pregnancy, and since being on here I haven't seen any yet. I got a really faint line on the first test i did, and I was 5 and a half weeks. a week later I did another one, and it was really dark!! I thin thats the same for most people. If you have had mcs though, maybe call the GP again to tell them and ask for a reassurance scan- I think they can be done for women who have had multiple mc. I've had a mc before and the wait for my first appointment has felt like forever, but it's nearly over, Ive got it this wednesday. Otherwise you look into paying for one if you have the money?

Good luck hun, sorry for the essay. And Im sure you'll be fine!! Big hugs! :hugs: x x x

the last time I googled something was when I was having some browny coloured CM, google told me I was losing the baby! came on here and at least 50% of ladies have this, midwife confirmed it was fine :) obv your gunna worry with prev MC, get yourself an early scan hunny :) let us know how it goes

thanks gals. i'm gonna phone my docs in the morn and try and get a midwife appointment sooner. I have really gotta stop reading things on the net as im gonna be paranoid all the way through otherwise xx

Oh im the same hun, spend all day searching, but it does make you paronid, iv resorted to asking for info on here. To be honest alot of the women on here have been through the situation anyway so there the best people to ask xx

Google is evil once you've got your bfp, when ttc it's like your bestfriend as it convinces you your pregnant :wall2: xx
