I cant believe how much it hurts.
I was having chicken fried rice with sweet and sour sauce and spilt some rice on to the floor as I was tipping it out the container on to my plate. I have a papillion who is a greedy little cow at the best of times but is being extra disobedient at the minute- she knows she has to stay in her bed when we are eating.
Any way I was pouring some sauce onto my plate when I felt her nosying around my feet, as I looked down to tell her to get back in her bed I managed to pour all the boiling sause over the palm and both sides of the four fingers on my left hand. Jesus!!
After spending 30 mins running my hand under freezing cold water with tears streaming down my face and another 30 mins of holding it in cold water I still cant take my hand out.
It hurts like hell, god knows what its going to look like in the morning- feel a trip to a&e at shotley may be on the cards.
