just bought doppler

i didi it i ordered one. felt since i have my baby gear already i will save a lot of money so why not give myself peace of mind. still not sure if i am actually feeling baby. also have scan on tuesday at at the moment as i cant feel baby i will be anxious before scan which will bring on an ibs attack which really does hurt. its next day delivery so not long to wait.

I feel exactly the same way, havemt felt baby move and not heard heart beat so ordered one on monday from a shop on ebay, but havent recieved it yet, And I have my scan on Friday, just want to hear the heart beat before I go,

Hearing the HB for the first time is one of the best things ever! I cried for about 10-15 mins afterwards cos I was so relieved!

Just remember when you receive your dopplers that it can take a while to locate the HB so don't start panicking after a couple of mins

It took me flippin' ages the first time but I found it eventually. Knowing that it's not easy till you get the hang of it from here helped no end. I just told myself 'ok I might not find it this time but that's not because theere's a problem.'

Now I've got the hang of it I find it straight away, I did lose it again once because my uterus had risen (I think) so it wasn't in the usual spot.

I normally find mine near the sound of the placenta, I get the whoosh whoosh of my heart rate and then change the tilt to find Bub's gallop!

i ordered it from hi baby.co.uk. its the bf500b still awaitin it to arrive. i am worried i may not find hb at first and get anxiuos so thanx 4 advice in advice.

Just look very low down for it. Right down by your pubic bone..
