Hi All,

Just got back from the scan and baby is fine. It was a subchronic hematoa ???? A load of blood basically in the womb but nowhere near the baby.
Got to take it easy. Supposed to be fying end of the month but they've advised against it until I'm 16 weeks so going to have to cancel flights . They said the pressures on the plane could cause more bleeding. Oh well, baby comes first.
It's got the nickname of trouble now

I had exactly the same thing. Now... be warned... you may stop bleeding now and then bleed again in a few weeks time. TRY not to worry as it is likely but doesn't necessarily mean anything bad. Remember that!

I bled at 6, 8, 9 and 11 weeks and am now 31 weeks and all is fine. Never a defined reason for the bleed.

They could see another load of blood in there so I'm expecting it this time. I'm off work until Thursday so I can have a rest as I had very little sleep last night. Going to keep a spare pair of trousers with me at all times from now on. Just glad I wasn't in a public place when it happened, had planned to go swimming that morning , nurse said best to avoid until I've had at least a week free from any blood or spotting.
I'm so glad I joined this site as I have someone to talk to if I need it, I think that has to be the most traumatic experience of my life.
