Hi everyone!

I've had to put my industry job-hunt on hold due to my pregnancy, but I would still like to find some form of work. The work is too risky while pregnant for me to be comfortable doing, and I can't imagine any interview scenario in such a competitive industry where I say 'oh by the way I'm pregnant' where I'll be offered the job.

Ideally I'm looking for something I can do from home as I'm starting the last part of my degree from October which will also be studied at home in my spare time. I've got my eye out for small part-time shop jobs too.

I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any please.

Starting to panic about money. :shhh:

Thank you!

In all honesty.... I just wouldn’t mention you’re pregnant.

That's not the issue, I'd be on industrial sites, climbing structures and dealing with 1kA electrical systems. I wouldn't do that pregnant, and I wouldn't hide it from them. My career can wait, just want a small job to bring some pocket money in.

Even at a small part-time job they're not likely to hire you if you say you're pregnant at the interview... Unless you live in a small town. It's just too competitive! I totally see why you don't want to do your industry job! Good luck in the job hunt. x
