I will be 12 weeks tomorrow and suddenly all my jeans don't fit, i have to undo the top button when i can to make then feel more comfortable.

It is my first baby, so a little worried i am expanding to fast, after hearing some of you never showed with your first until you well over 20 weeks.

I am 5'2" (at a good stretch) and a size 8 before becoming pregnant. Is it due to being small that i am showing and tummy growing already. I have put on about 4 pounds (which is about the norm isn't it for the first 12 weeks)??

I have my first scan on Monday, so not been keen to buy any maternity trousers until i know everything is ok. Not had a MW appointment, so i haven't had chance to ask these questions and haven't got one until the 14th June.

I had that with my first baby, but from there it took quite a lot longer before I got a proper bump. But my trousers started feeling too tight very quickly.

I've got my top buttons undone too but I think it's more bloating than anything else!

I dont think it will be long before I am the button undone stage, the bloating is isane for me right now. I am not minding though, it is a good reason.

I was the same from about 9 weeks, try using a plain hairband to loop round your button hole and button, gives a bit extra stretch but trousers stay up! Good luck for your scan.

Mine have been getting a bit too tight (they were a bit tight to start with though!). Bought my first maternity jeans yesterday and OMG I love them! I can't say that I've really got much of a bump as yet - my flab has taken on a more defined shape, but that's about it lol!

I've been doing the hairband thing - good tip!

I'm looking forward to getting my first maternity jeans!

I've been doing the hairband thing too, only way I can wear my work trousers!
It might just be bloating countrybumpkin, but I'm pretty sure mine is starting to become a bump. I'm 5' and normally size 8 so anything shows on me and it's probs the same for you :)
