Update at 6am this morning. Sounds like she's a right trooper!:

"Came to ward about 9.30, had para & codeine & sterile water injections for back pain...stung like a bitch but worked. Examined me and was already 5-6cm. Moved me to room, gave diamorphine with gas & air. Got to about 1 & begged for epidural. Examined me was about 7cm. Couldn't get one til gone 5! Best decision I made. Examined & fully dilated. Giving me an hour for him to move further down but he's really low xx"
