Maybe you know it as your "show"?

Lol the mucus that's at the opening of the cervix (it usually comes out before birth). Think it's there to protect the opening from infection etc

I think it's to do with the cervix thining and dilating...that's what pushes it out.

yeah basically how i understand it is the plug/show is the mucus that literally plugs the baby in. had quite a lot of it go last week and today more which can only be good! i guess the cervix is prob open a tiny bit for it to come out i hope im one of those that dilates without noticing
i have had the odd pressure pain things and some tightenings and some back ache so we will see. i dont want to symptom spot as im pretty sure that just jinxes things haha so you prob wont hear much on the "Twinge" front, only physical things like my plug and i guess if/when my waters go! i really hope it means something gonna tell my midwife tomorrow! x
