I've washed all bub's clothes today :cheer:

I can't believe that in a few weeks my little man will be wearing them

is it safer to wash clothes?? i wasnt going to to be honest, didnt know whether you should or not?

I washed everything but you don't have to. I think it really is just personal preference. I love the smell of it all now though. Yummy fairy and comfort :D

thats what Ive been doing today :D I love looking at them all hanging up drying Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: I'll iron it all tommorrow. Im just trying to decide on a going home outfit to take in my labour bag if I dont have a homebirth. Whats everyone else chosen?

x

I've washed all his things for the same reason as Debbie they smell lovely now. I've just started washing all his blankets and sheets so they'll all smell familiar to him.
Not that it'll make any difference though i'm sure.

I haven't picked a going home outfit yet.
In fact i might just have a little look at Next online and see what they have :D

For baby or for you?

For baby we have chosen a little cream coloured all in one with a t-shirt underneath and a fluffy snowsuit type thing.

For me I have black trackie bottoms and a hooded jumper - comfort lol

Oh sorry I meant for baby :D - for me will be same as you, trackie bottoms and hoodie plus a paper bag to stick over my head

I cant decide for baby. If I have him in May he wont need a snowsuit / pramsuit will he? God Ive no idea about dressing babies! :(

I feel I should get mine packed, I have this un-nerving feeling that baby will decide to come early (or is that wishful thinking???) I am just so overwhelmed thinking about everything I will need.

I haven't bought any clothes for my baby yet. I have been shopping three times, but can't seem to bring myself to buy any clothes. I can't explain why, it is weird, I have bought lots of other things, but clothes just seem so personal. It is hard buying clothes for a little person I don't know yet.

Next have some gorgeous things in

:wall: I will not use my Next account :wall:

I got loads of the boys clothes from next   he's got so much now it's a joke

I'm beginning to build up a collection now think I'm compensating for the fact i aren't buying clothes for myself any more so I'm getting bam them instead.

He hasn't got a going home outfit though :(

I have got so many clothes already - i am not able to go shopping now as i am worried i will buy more!

I have always liked the idea of dressing the baby in the preferred colour but as we aren't sure what we are having i am packing something blue and something pink.

Has anyone else who is due in May got a snow suit? Im not sure if i will need one for baby but got one from Tesco (Roo one) it was only £2.75 so didn't think i could go that wrong! Its so difficult to tell what the weather will be like, obviously if it is hot it will be a whole different ball game!

I'm due April and haven't got a snow suit not sure whether to get one or not really

I need to start washing mine, they are all still in carrier bags as we haven't got the chest of drawers yet.

Never even thought about a snowsuit, do you think I will need one for the end of March  Will probably get one just in case :D

Im gonna do this next week as I wont have to work! YAY!

Even though most of the things came packaged..I still dont like the idea that some factory worker has probably had his/her grubby hands on the clothes while putting them into the packaging (if its not machine done)

:puke: :puke:

You should be ok in May. The weather should be much warmer by then. We have a snowsuit to take but we also have cardigans and little thickish jackets so we could pack one of those for coming home too incase it is a warm day... saying that though... the hospital is literally 5 mins drive so baby won't be in it long whatever :D

I've been washing clothes and bedding today also. You don't have to but after working in the stock room of a big department store as a teenager I feel better doing it. It was really dirty and dusty in the stock rooms! I'd come home from work filthy!

Logan's due in April. I have 3 snowsuits but only cos 2 were given to me and one is from when James was a baby! I wouldn't bother buying them myself. I think it will be too hot for them even in April.
I bought a little jacket from Tesco yesterday which I think will be more suitable.
