I've just been to the gym!

I've not been in a while but did go for the occasional run and spinning class before. This time I took it easy as I know you shouldn't get too hot - 20 mins on the cross trainer, 20 mins cycling and 20 fast walking on an incline on the treadmill.

Going to go 3 times a week for as long as I can. One of my friends recently told me after a 36 hour labour that the pain wasn't as horrific as she thought it would be but it was definitely more of an endurance test and she's as fit as a fiddle

I spoke to the midwife at my GP practice on Thursday about training. I'm a Spinning instructor and prior to getting pregnant was doing up to 6 classes a week. The midwife told me that as my body is used to the exercise that I could keep it up as long as I was feeling fit to. Since discovering I am pregnant I've done very little as prefered to wait to scan is over. Providing all goes ok with scan I would still plan to Spin, (currently having withdrawal symptoms) but just not to same level as before.

Ive just got back from swimming, my gym membership ended in November and i didnt renew, wish i did now, didnt think id be able to continue really, well that and money! Couple have people are still going to the gym and jogging, feel like i should be doing more!

Dawn- wow spinning instructor, i love spinning, but no joke after the first time i ever did it i was in pain for 4 days after! U must mega fit to be an instructor. Id love to do something like that! xxx

lol Wen I first did Spinning believe me I was the one getting off the bike after bout 20 mins to throw up!! Stubbornness and addition made me stick at it and when I started work as a receptionist in our local Leisure Centre the opportunity came up to train as an Instructor. Haven't looked back since. :) Just hoping that I can get back to it soon. xx

Good on ya! Ive got aquaerobics tomorrow and love to follow classes in fitness tv
