I had Giacomo on my list for a boy, I LOVE it!

Pronouced Jack-omo, it's Italian for James and was Casanova'a first name. I was watching the BBC drama with David Tennant who I think is gorgeous when I came up with it

Guiseppe - boy - they shorten it to Pep
Gabriella - Girl - they shorten this to Bella.

Good choice, i Love LUca.
But remember the name is Luca. Lucca with 2 Cs is the town in Tuscany!!!!!

just a small correction!
It's spelled Giuseppe, not guiseppe....

Sorry, girls if i am correcting you, but you dont want your children with wrong names!!!

Serefina is wrong. The correct nae is Serafina.... but both serafina and carmine are extremely very old fashion names.... present only in the south of italy.... quite common during the fascism with Mussolini!
