Is this normal

Hi all.

I'm 38+2 days pregnant. I saw my midwife the other day and she said the baby was engaged but in a back to back position. The day after my bump dropped down and I had diarrhea and back ache all day. Today my whole genetal area is really badly swollen, uncomfortable and dry. Is this normal in late pregnancy? or is it caused by me still having sex (sorry I know tmi), oh ye I keep feeling pressure in my anus too so am hoping I wont have another 4 weeks of this

Sounds like the joys of late pregnancy I'm afraid. Your baby is probably getting nice and low ready to meet you

Thanks guys. never had many things like this with my other pregnancy although I was bigger than with this one. I'v felt like I'm going into labour for the past 8 weeks this time.

I've been waddling for weeks its heads been in my pelvis since 30 weeks and I have spd my o/h thinks its funny. I'm thinking when the school re-opens and I start walking 2 miles every morning that might just set me off lol.
