Is this normal? (tmi sorry!)

Hi,

I am having the joys of piles just now, had issues with them throughout pregnancy and managed to treat with cream and hot baths but this morning noticed one was black!!??!!
Is this normal? Should I be worried? xx

I have no idea but didn't want to read and run!! Can I just ask how you know it's black? I can't see a thing down the front right now, never mind the back. If you think there's any chance it might be infected somehow then I'd say that would be a (albeit embarrassing) trip to the GP unfortunately. Hope it clears up xx

Is it maybe filled with blood..? Sounds awful but I have one that bleeds sometimes but must admit I don't know what colour it is! I would mention it at next appt just to be sure xx
