is this enough?

Louie is exactly 4 months today!!!!!!!
anyway he has as yet not been on solids (tried a bit of baby rice over xmas but he wasn't interested) hes on 5/6 bottles a day of 5 oz, is this enough?

the last few evenings he has started to have a crying fit for an hour, could this be linked?

It could be hun, but it may be his gummies playing him up?! Poor little man, is he showing any other signs of being ready?

thanks for replying!! yes i think it is his gums why he is crying at night, but he just doesn't seem interested in starting solids, he looks at our food though when we eat , which i understand can be a sign?

i wanted him to be older than the 12 wks we used to give our older kids solids, but now hes 17 wks?
i've bought everything ready, including rusks & rice.
help!

louie sounds exactly like Alastair and drinks pretty much the same as Louie. I think its enough well Alastair will not take anymore milk and what are we suppose to do force feed them, Alastair isnt putting on as much weight as he should be so HV have asked me to try and stick in with the solids, some days Alastair wants the food and other days he doesnt!!!

going back to see HV 2morrow so if he hasnt put on any wieght this week it will be intresting to see what they will say.

They take what they need and provided he's generally healthy and well I really wouldn't worry. All kids are different and as I said before one size does not fit all. My sons just a little piggy while my daughter barely fed at all.
