is this a tooth?

well the HV told me on Wednesday that Evie is def teething...she's got all the signs and symptoms...

anyway this morning she was doing her usual chattering when I noticed a white raised spot on her gum that looks mega sore. I touched it to make sure it didn't scrape off like thrush and she wasn't impressed with me and it didn't come off!

so I'm thinking this is a tooth on it's way out...the only odd thing is it's not a front tooth

It's on the top and probably about the 3rd tooth from the front.. is that normal?

It sounds like it - my DD has one of those on her top gum - its like the eye tooth I think (is that what you call it?) - and its not come through any more in weeks - sometimes you can't even see it. Someone told me, sometimes the gums grow faster than the teeth so the gum will grow to cover it again!

As far as I understand it, teeth can come through in any which way - so it sounds definitely possible!
