When I first became pregnant, it felt really surreal, after seeing Dan at 12 weeks, it became a lot more realistic. At 20 weeks, finding out it was a boy, well the bonding set in.

Now however the thought of actually holding him, having a son, feels really surreal again. Is this a normal feeling or am I just suffering from pregnancy related nonsense

It felt surreal even after giving birth tbh... It still does in a way like someones going to come take her away.

I still dont beleive im gonna be holding my baby in two weeks at the most

NO it's very normal. It's also surreal when you're holding the baby and you can't believe what you've just done!!! You lose track of time!

Thanks girls, once again you have shown me that all these 'bizarre' pregnancy feelings are normal. I tend to question myself  :D

i still cant really see it happening, i guess if youve never had a baby before, theres no existing frame of reference in the brain so you literally cant imagine it

I feel the same way. I can't get past not having "Flump" anymore....

Not abnormal at all!
I can't quite seem to get my head round it all. I can get to the stage of the pregnancy ending but i can't see me having my daughter for life.. I just can't imagine it!!

me too, I was ironing James clothes today and thinking he lives in me but soon he will be real, outside and wearing these and it was just a weird feeling

I got that when I was ironing Logans bedding the other day :)

I think we are all on the same pregnancy wavelength

i feel the same to i mean in a weeks tym im guna have a bubba in my arms

p.s it will be a weeks tym or less i refuse to go over due :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

the feeling doesnt go away.sometimes I look at my 6 year old and still cant believe shes mine.as they say a mothers love is unconditional and neverending and its very true.

agree that that feeling never really goes. When i think of hannah as a 5, 10, 15, 45 year old i cant and its totally surreal.
I felt it when i was pregnant. As if it would never really happen.
