Tuesday: Muesli for breakfast, fruit for dinner as well as an egg and bacon toastie when I got home, then I had a steak pie with potatoes and peas for tea.

Yesterday: I had muesli for breakfast, dinner I had tomatoes on toast with an egg then later on I had (as a treat off MIL) chips and a hotdog on the beach with a bag of candy floss :D Had a sneaky potnoodle later on too.

Today I've had fried bread, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans, egg and bacon and I'm about to have a McDonalds!

I'm either drinking orange or water too :) I've stopped drinking caffeine.

I've got a bowl of fruit here which parents bought me, but I really don't fancy any at the moment. Might have an orange later though.
I'm taking my pregnacare once a day after a meal too.

My mum and MIL tell me they weren't careful like me when they were pregnant, they said they ate whatever they wanted so for me not to worry if I pig out from time to time. But I'm worried I'm being a bad mum? :(

Sickness is starting to kick in I think, so I doubt I'll be able to eat McDonalds soon, but I'm just so hungry at the moment and I like to enjoy meals. I'm not a big fan of lettuce but I do enjoy healthy eating too. Could murder a McDonalds right now though.

Opinions?

From what you have written sounds like you have a bit of everything. Long as your getting a balanced diet most of the time the odd mcDonalds won't hurt. Think the most important thing in tri 1 is to eat something whatever it is, you can make up for the rubbish when you feel better in tri 2!

Oh yes definitely. I haven't had a McDonalds in a while! You're right about the eating. I know some girls can't eat at all.
Thank you xxx

McDonalds seems to be a universal early fancy! I would have literally killed for a Maccy D's burger when I was 6-8 weeks preggo! I say go with what your body wants in the early stages because you feel so rough, it's nice if you fancy anything at all :-)

Ahah thanks for your reply.
I had a somewhat healthy breakfast today! A bowl of cheerios with soya milk.

Feeling quite sick :( so I fancy something light and healthy. May have some potatoes with salad or something later. xxx
