Just wondering if my blleding is normal? Sorry this maybe too much info!

It had almost nearly stopped in the last couple of days after having Arianna but this morning I have (sorry for this  ) like bloody gloops - kinda like what my show was.

I have been getting slight tummy cramps but was told that I would with everything going back to the way it was before pregnancy.

Please help as I dunno if it is normal or not!!

If they are clots bigger than a 50p then you should speak to your midwife or gp and I know it sounds rank but you usually have to save a pad with one on to show them. I'm pretty sure it's nothing though, you get all sorts after having a baby.

I had the same cramps after I had my lil boy, the bleeding become heavier after a week , but It does die down.

mine eventually stopped 4 weeks after birth.

But if your still worried then contact your midwife or gp for advice

It does sound normal to me hun. I bled for weeks after & at the beginning had several clots. Like the others said if they are large mention it to your m/w when she next comes to see you.

Thank you!!

The bleeding has stopped it's just every now and then I get this 'gloop' of blood.

I'll mention it to mw at the clinic.

Thanks for your help tho.

make sure you tell your midwife as it could be bits of placenta x

yes i had this too, my midwife took a swab in case it was infection but I havent heard anything so it was fine.

Mine was stringy glop!! but has also carmed down in the last few days.

Midwife also said it can be due to over working yourself... if you have been doing heavy work or moving a lot your blood lose can get heavier.

She also said if i have an infection i would have bad stomach pains (i had mild stomach pains) and have a high temp and feel ill ( which i did not)... just keep an eye out for this hun

hope this helps xxxx

Thanks Keely

That sounds like it. I've got the clinic tomorrow with Arianna so I will try to speak to midwife when I'm there.

Thanks!

S. xx
