Is my baby eating too often???

Hi

My little boy is 2 weeks and 3 days old and he has 100ml pretty much every feed at the moment. He sometimes feeds every 2 hours which seems quite often to me.

I thought maybe if he had more milk he would last longer between feess but I tried to give him more and he won't eat it.


Is this normal or is there something I should be doing to increase the time between feeds?

I think that is ok just now - 100ml is about 3 1/2oz right?

Is it EVERY 2hours or does he sleep longer at night.
When Arianna was first born she did the same but went 4hrs between feeds at night.

Thanks Sarah, yes it is about 3½ oz.

He goes from 2-2½ hours during the day but about 3-4 hours at night.

I personally wouldnt worry just now as he is still so new he'll still be a hungry little mite.
